I offer two-hour, private wheel throwing lessons in my backyard pottery studio in North Portland, Oregon. I can accommodate 1, 2, or 3 participants, each with their own pottery wheel provided. During our lesson, I'll demonstrate how to wheel throw, and will guide you through the process of making your own pot. At the end of class, we'll select glazes for your pots to be finished in. Your artwork will be ready to pick up from my studio one month from the date of our lesson. In that time, I will trim, glaze, and fire your pots from our lesson together.

I am a lifelong potter, educator, and overall friendly feller, and I would be delighted to work with you on beginning or strengthening your pottery journey. If there's anything you've ever dreamt of creating, or if you're curious about how to get started with making pots, I'll be there to guide and cheer you on in the process. I welcome all experience levels!

Adults and children ages 6+ are welcome with a participating parent or guardian. At this time, my studio does not meet ADA standards.

2 Artists: $200

3 Artists: $250

*Rates include unlimited porcelain clay and material costs. You can make as much as you'd like in our allotted lesson time.
